Welcome to BookCompass ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website and keyword research tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, using our services, or accessing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

BookCompass provides keyword research tools for Amazon KDP authors. Our service analyzes Amazon search data to help users find low-competition, high-opportunity keywords for their books.

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

You must be at least 18 years old to use BookCompass.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

BookCompass offers free and paid subscription plans ("Starter" and "Pro"). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

• Free Plan: 3 searches per day at no cost
• Starter Plan: $12 per month for 20 searches per day
• Pro Plan: $25 per month for 100 searches per day

Payments are processed through Monnify (or another third-party payment processor). You agree to provide accurate billing information.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our service, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis if you experience technical issues that we cannot resolve.

6. Cancellation and Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your account will revert to the Free Plan at the end of your current billing cycle.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass our daily search limits
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated scripts or bots to access our service
• Reverse engineer or copy our software

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of BookCompass (including software, text, graphics, logos, and API integrations) are owned by BookCompass and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate keyword research data, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data provided. Amazon's search data may change over time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookCompass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that your books will succeed or that you will make money using our tool.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the website. Your continued use of BookCompass after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
